Green Cross Veterinary Products announced on the 14th that it has obtained official certification for the Food Safety Management System, ISO 22000, an internationally recognized standard in food safety.

ISO 22000 is a global standard system jointly developed by organizations such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). It aims to prevent, eliminate, and control food-related hazards throughout the entire process—from production to final consumption.

With this certification, Green Cross Veterinary Products plans to further strengthen its internal quality management system and enhance its understanding of food safety management through continuous education and training. This will enable the company to establish a robust safety management system and respond swiftly to any potential safety issues.

The acquisition of ISO 22000 certification is also expected to have a positive impact on the company’s global expansion. As an internationally recognized standard, ISO 22000 will enhance the credibility and competitiveness of Green Cross Veterinary Products’ products in overseas markets.

The company has previously been recognized as a leading technology-driven enterprise through the establishment of its corporate research institute, acquisition of KVGMP certification for excellent facilities, and Main-Biz certification, along with continuous achievements in technological development and employment stability.

In addition to its existing certifications—ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 37301 (Compliance Management)—the newly acquired ISO 22000 certification marks the company’s achievement of a “grand slam” across quality, environment, compliance, and food safety management systems.

Green Cross Veterinary Products stated that it continues to make consistent efforts to improve hygiene management and product quality at its production facilities through the recruitment of specialized QC personnel. The company also emphasized its commitment to providing highly reliable veterinary pharmaceuticals through ongoing technological innovation and the implementation of smart factory systems. Building on this ISO certification, the company will further strengthen its efforts to ensure the production and distribution of safer and more hygienic products.
